When we experience trauma, we go into survival mode. The more trauma we experience, the deeper into survival mode we descend. We feel unsafe, insecure, and unprotected.
We also lose the deep connection to our divine selves that we had when we came into this lifetime, and so we lose our connection to our natural Divine Protection – it’s still there, we just can’t feel it anymore. Feeling surrounded by Divine Protection helps us to feel safe in the world, and to feel calm enough to work on our healing.
